This is my second trilogy: on women.
Eefje Wijnberg was created in her own right - feminists loved the book, untill it came out who was the real author. Still, under my own name, it is a lasting success.
Eefje returns in the other two books: Varium et Mutabile (cover shows Manet: Baudelaire's mistress), written with the heart of a Don Giovanni, and Semper (cover shows Bonnard: girl with red garter), written with the heart of the Tristan figure.
Like all my books by de ARBEIDERSPERS beautiful covers designed by Nico Richter.
Varium et Mutabile got me the AKO Prize 1988.
Semper a nomination for the same prize. |
